Our Story
We are a Certified Naturally Grown, small-scale farm in rural Antioch Township, Illinois. Our family is devoted to responsible land stewardship. Our holistic approach to agriculture emphasizes the restoration of soil health and the humane treatment of animals. We cultivate safe, nutrient-dense produce by working with the dynamic ecosystem that already exists. Instead of using invasive machinery and pesticides, we rely on beneficial microorganisms, insects, and fungi to filter out unwanted pollutants and aerate our soil. Instead of fertilizers and herbicides, we use high-quality organic compost to suppress weeds while adding vital nutrients to our crops. We aim to improve the natural resources that we use.
Our seeds are Non-GMO because it matters. Our chickens are not caged because they are part of our family. Their eggs are free of antibiotics and packed with micro-nutrients. Our bees are kept sustainably and ethically because we care. Our gardens are filled with pollinators because they are the engines that run healthy habitats. We use time-honored traditions and natural practices so that we can be proud to bring our farm to your table.
